Using Crystals to heal is an alternative medical technique in which crystals and other stones are used to cure ailments, protect against disease and negative influences.
This practice is ancient, dating back to the time of the Sumerians of Mesopotamia. Ancient Egyptians decorated their buildings (and selves) with crystals such as lapis lazuli, carnelian and turquoise to, we surmise, ward off illness and negative energy.
Diamonds, rubies and other gems are referenced in old Buddhist tests.
The Breastplate of the Hebrew High Priest in the Old Testament contains 12 different stones, which, along with gold and other minerals, has been shown to create a crystal-type radio (Lawrence Gardener).
In the oldest writings on Earth, Sanskrit writings of ancient India, quartz crystals are named Bhisma-Ratna, the gem that removes fear.
The Indian sages, Native Americans, Aztecs, Celts, Egyptians and many others used crystals because they were aware of subtle spiritual energies.
Ok, so they’ve been around a long time and look pretty. Let’s back up a bit.
What exactly is a crystal?
A crystal is a solid in which the atoms, molecules or ions are aligned in an ordered and repeating pattern extending in all three spatial dimensions. It is a highly organized mineral with an electrical nature.
Because of this nature, when an electric current is passed through a crystal, each crystal vibrates at a specific frequency. For this reason, crystals, especially quartz, have been used in the manufacture of electronics.
Hey! So these pretty, colourful, etheric, life-altering stones have a scientific definition? YUP.
Piezoelectricity is the ability of some materials (ex. quartz crystals) to generate an electric potential in response to applied mechanical stress. Quartz (silicon dioxide) crystals can convert electrical voltage into the mechanical regulation of clocks and computers. This process can be reversed by using mechanical pressure to produce electrical voltage.
When a sugar cube (with a crystal structure) is crushed (in darkness) it
will display flashes of green light.
The first practical application for piezoelectric devices was developed in 1917 as a detector / transducer for SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging System). Since then, quartz crystals have been used to make oscillators for radios, computer chips, and clocks. Quartz is why telephones ring. It is also understood that quartz is a transmitter and receiver. Silicon is the method used for storing data on computers. It isn’t too far of a stretch to imagine then that the ancient Crystal Quartz Skulls were used by more advanced societies to store libraries of information.
The original radios were created using vibrating crystals to create the frequency to transmit signals. As radio technology improved, radio transmitters had several different crystals to allow transmission on different frequencies. Modern radios have large number of different frequencies used by radio stations.
Vibrating crystals can be used for time keeping. A quartz clock uses the vibration of a quartz crystal to measure time. When the crystal has an electric current passed through it, the crystal will vibrate at 60 hertz (60 times per second).
Whatever device you are reading this on, the screen is LCD (liquid crystal display), powered by a processor chip made from silicon (derived from silicate minerals in the earth’s crust – crystals). Today, quartz makes up 12% of the Earth’s crust and is used in almost every kind of technology, including time keeping, electronics, information storage, and more.
Marcel Vogel was a scientist with IBM, with over 100 patents in total. He developed the magnetic coating for the 24″ hard disk drive systems still in use. His areas of expertise, besides luminescence, were phosphor technology, magnetics and liquid crystal systems. Like many scientists, his work took him towards the spiritual. He found a way to cut a quartz crystal to maximize the collection, amplification, and transmission of the energy. By cutting in this way, the energy output of the crystal is consistent, allowing for greater scientific uses. He also found that plants respond to human thoughts and emotions.
“The crystal is a neutral object whose inner structure exhibits a state of perfection and balance. When it is cut to the proper form and when the human mind enters into relationship with its structural perfection, the crystal emits a vibration which extends and amplifies the power of the user’s mind. Like a laser, it radiates energy in a coherent, highly concentrated form, and this energy may be transmitted into objects or people at will.” – Marcel Vogel
It is said that while watching crystals grow under a microscope, he noticed that their shape took the form of whatever he was thinking about. He hypothesized that these vibrations are the result of the constant assembling and disassembling of bonds between molecules. This story is passed around the internet, but I am unable to find a source for it. It is a great idea and makes sense in light of our current knowledge.
These pictures were taken after specific words were said to the water:
LOVE YOU DISGUST ME
Marcel Vogel also tested the metaphysical power of quartz crystal and proved that rocks can store thoughts similar to how tapes use magnetic energy to record sound.
The use of quartz crystals to store digital memory was developed in Britain in 2013 and could survive for a million years without being lost, according to scientists who said that it could long outlive the end of civilization.
This crystal memory can store digital information in five dimensions – the three dimensions of space and two extra dimensions of the crystal lattice – and hold up to 360 terabytes of data on to a single disc, equivalent to about half a million conventional CD’s.
Jingyu Zhang and his colleagues at Southampton University have compared the glass memory device to the Superman memory crystal used in the films of the comic-book hero to store his parents’ archives of data.
Earth as a Giant Crystal
It has been thought for some time that the core of the Earth is a giant iron ball, spinning in opposite direction to the spin of the Earth. Not quite. In 1995, scientists, using a sophisticated computer model of the Earth’s inner core, found there is a giant crystal at the core of the Earth.
In the last few years, it was found that the core more closely resembles several crystals, and as they break off they rise to Earth’s crust, showing as silicon dioxide in the crust analysis.
Arkansas (and Brazil) have the two largest clear quartz crystal beds in the world. The vibration is described as being different from crystal found elsewhere in the world.
So what makes Arkansas quartz crystal so special?
“The closer…crystal formations lay to the magnetic core of the planet, the greater their magnetic field. All quartz mined in Arkansas in the United States — a region which is extremely close to that core — emits powerful electromagnetic energies, and this area (ARKANSAS) currently provides the purest quartz crystal known to mankind.” Edmund Harold “Focus on Crystals”.
Arkansas has another crystal mineral nearby to the crystal beds. There is a massive bed of magnetic lodestone. This means the Arkansas crystals are far more electromagnetically charged.
When the natural radium water, natural lodestone and quartz combine under the physical stresses, the magnetics and piezoelectric crystals combine and the crystals take on unique extraordinary electromagnetic properties. Some people say this creates dimensional openings.
Nicola Tesla, in 1899, began his experiments in Colorado Springs. Tesla was a Serbian American inventor, who contributed to the work of the alternating current, and many of the devices we take for granted today. His goal was to tap into the electrical potential of the Earth itself to create free world-wide energy.
In Colorado Springs we wanted to send a radio message from Pike’s Peak to Paris – without wires. He chose Colorado Springs because of its proximity to the Rocky Mountains, whose soil was very high in quartz, and would assist him in transmitting the electrical energy overseas.
The results are unclear. Aside from the issues with missing diaries, files, notes and his other writings, what does exist indicates he was satisfied with the results and gained further motivation to continue experimenting.
People often feel different in different places in the world. It’s not just a matter of the weather, food or culture. We can see how the resonant vibration of a locale can be different from other places and affect us.
And when in the Earth in larger quantifies, they have a frequency depending on proximity to earth’s core and other minerals in the vicinity. It can therefore affect the people living there, causing them to resonate somewhat at that frequency.
Each of us can have a frequency or range that we feel best at, and the location can help us achieve that.
If the Earth is a giant memory crystal, it may hold memories of the planet and its inhabitants since the beginning. This is referred to as the Akashic Records. The Akashic Records refer to a database of every word, thought or action that is stored energetically and encoded in a non-physical plane of existence. They are said to contain the information of every Soul or Being in the cosmos. The Records are continually updated, with each new thought, word or action that every Soul or entity makes. The Akashic Records therefore contain the energetic prints about the origination and journey of every Soul through its lifetimes. They connect each of us to one another.
Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning “sky”, “space” or “ether”. It is conceived of as a “Universal Computer”, the “Mind of God”, the Cosmic or Collective Consciousness, the Collective Unconscious or the Collective Subconscious.
Personal Vibrations
Albert Einstein said “everything in life is vibration”.
Different crystals have different frequencies, and their strong energy fields can be used to raise your personal vibration. In a similar way, each emotion we feel has been measured to vibrate at a specific frequency.
Every person on this planet is vibrating at a very subtle Hertz frequency rate or their personal vibration analysis. We have a base metabolic rate when at rest, but when events start happening in our lives and our emotions are engaged our vibrational rate changes rapidly and often dramatically.
We pretty much know that life wears us down unless we put conscious effort to remaining positive. With each experience in life, over time most of our reactions become automatic, often negative, emotional reactions as a learned habit. Our own behavior seems uncontrollable.
Since we generally are not taught how to view each life experience separately and see larger patterns, how to learn from those experiences, process them and let go the negative emotions, without negative emotional blocks colouring our view of future events. This has been part of numerous spiritual teachings for thousands of years, but not part of everyday mainstream life.
These negative emotions become stored – we are programmed to respond in a certain manner until that program is dissolved and replaced by another. By adulthood we have so many unresolved experiences that many of our responses are automatically negative, which causes a negative view of the next event, and perpetuates our state of mind.
Some of the reactions and thought patterns that trigger negative cycles include – judging others, feelings of being the victim, comparing yourself to others, perception that we are not all equal.
In 1992, Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology, an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington, built the first frequency monitor in the world. Tainio has determined that the average frequency of the human body during the daytime is 62-68 [M]Hz. A healthy body frequency is 62-72 [M]Hz. When the frequency drops, the immune system is compromised.

The quantum physicists have proven it: We are not just this physical body. Our personal energy field extends quite a distance around us.
Through the energy field (aura – bioenergetic field) we connect to other life. This is one unusual application of the field of plasma physics. Plasma physics is defined as “the study of charged particles and fluids interacting with self-consistent electric and magnetic fields.” University of Colorado
As our vibration rises, we are more in touch with this feeling of being part of a larger universe, and/or the Divine. We tend to take better care of ourselves, eat healthier foods, have better relationships, etc.
If our vibration is lower, living in a state of exhaustion, fear, negativity, and separation, like our stressed-out rushing around society encourages, we tend to live on junk or pre-packaged food, alcohol and drugs (pharmaceutical or not). Our thoughts and emotions are influenced by all this.
Beyond Programming
Through the electric plasma field, it is possible for the vibrations of other planets to affect us. This may be the basis of Astrology.
There is a multi-system field of study called The Electric Universe or Saturn Theory. This theory, originally put forth by David Talbott in the mid-70’s, looks at ancient myths about our Solar System and interprets them in light of the position of our Planets once being in different positions and alignments. These myths represent ancient witness to these changes.
Part of this theory, is that the Sun is not nuclear, but electromagnetic, and as such, sent an electrical plasma field out. It was through this plasma field that all things were/are connected.
Do crystals work?
There is definitely subtle energy of each type of crystal. They may not be able to alter our own vibration or organs or emotions enough to instantly heal, but they can help bring out certain parts of ourselves or remind us of how to be better. They can influence our energy field to a lesser degree.
With all the crystals, minerals, metals of Earth, what is the cumulative effect?
Is it possible the Earth a giant radio, transmitting into or receiving from space?
Absorbing influences from other life forms in the solar system or cosmos?
Crystals are millions of years old, forged during the earliest parts of earth’s formation. They are the most orderly structure that exists in nature, meaning they have the lowest amount of entropy (decay and disorder). Crystals are structured in such a way that they respond to the inputs of different energies around them, leading them to oscillate and emit specific vibratory frequencies. Because the crystal structure is so ordered, the energy it sends out is consistent, and chaotic energy becomes balanced and harmonic.
The human body and its cells also vibrate at certain frequencies, as do the Chakras (Energy Centres of the energy body). So when we come into contact with a crystal, its vibration interacts with the vibration of the cells in our body.
According to the Book of Stones, “When we bring the crystal into our electromagnetic field, two things occur. The electromagnetic frequencies carried by the stone will vibrate with related frequencies in our own energy field through the physical law of resonance, creating a third larger vibration field. The nervous system is attuned to these shifts in energy and transmits this information to the brain. Here the frequencies stimulate biochemical shifts that affect the physical body and shift brain function.” Simmons & Ahsian 2005, p28
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ~ Nikola Tesla
